one problem, what about secondary skills that might not fill a whole chipe but still be passed the newbie level so you wouldn’t be able to be a disciple again and end up loosing money buying a gsi just to get rid of the skill.
Good point! I was wondering that too. Or does the disciplship only count on the"trained" skills?
if you are past the newcomer level on any skil, eg sweating then you can’t become a disciple
suposed MA changed that.
you can become diciple even if you got som skill.
not a lot i agree , but maybe enought to only fill LB for exemple and start again…
gain is only som more skill in secondary skill..probably not a big deal
and since GSI price is falling, that should also not be a too big expense in the future, I see the GSI price under 50 PED in a few days probably even less.

I don’t :silly2:
And this wouldn’t be worth the money, it would be a complete loss to anybody who tries it, since to be eligible for discipleship, you need under 20 in every single skill, meaning your 200 bravado or whatever you’d have after 1.9k longblades would be worthless on the market, and would be way too expensive…
unless once you’ve filled a chip a part of the way up, you can continue you to fill it up later once you’ve gained more, possible?
This is definately an avenue worth exploring once the cost of GSI fall to where MA wants it.
They say that want the chips to be as common as pixie.

I also remember them saying they would NOT influence the economy in any way, in order not to disrupt it (read: Piss off people who are investing). I for one would be mundo upsetto if my about 100.000 Molisk teeth would suddenly become worthless.
And trust me. You do not want to see me upset.

I do! But from a safe distance away
The market should govern itself, after all thats what a market is meant to do. However even in real life with all our laws governing monopolies and fair trade it is still a long way off. A prime example of this is diamonds.
Debbers currently owns and runs the entire diamond mining operations in Africa. They artificailly keep prices increadibly high by only releasing a small number of diamonds each year. Its a well known fact that if they released all the diamonds they have and could mine next year they would be worthless than glass! This was highlighted when the Russians developed a method of artificailly creating diamonds that where purer and had less flaws in than natural diamonds. These where to be sold in mass quantites for industrial purposes. (diamond edge blades). However Debeers were not happy, they demanded all kinds of things, but the Russians basicailly said, get lost! So in the end Debeers made a deal to buy all of the diamonds produced and then resell them. Thus keeping the price artificailly high since the only way to garentee your diamond is ‘natural’ is if it has the debeers logo engraved on it!
I honestly don’t see the attraction of diamonds, they are boring!
Another more current example is Oil!
Again they do the same thing, limit production to keep prices high.

Well they directly manipulate everything in the economy by its drop rate.
I don’t see them as influencing it. I am betting it is already at the drop rate that they want it. It is just falling in price because more people are looting them and getting rid of them because they are seeing the price drop. Increaseing supply and and continuing to lower price. Now if everyone hoarded their gsi…
Also remember the price will jump right after each V.U. as the discontents leave the game.
I don’t think you can add to a chip after you use it.
However, I guess it would be more profitable if that to just skill up chip yourself. Sell the chip and then do it again.
Untill you can chip all the skills you have gained and become a disciple again..

Supply and demand… tis a shame!

yes, tis what makes the world go round, and PE appears to mimic rl very closely in this case.
Anyway, ya some1 could do this little scheme but as others have said I should think their chances of a worthwhile ME gift would be too low… that brings me to something I’ve been wondering about: is there currently a chart by some1 with ME gifts? Would be cool to survey a set number of mentors and see which gifts they received to calculate very roughly one’s chances of obtaining good gifts If some1 has done this already sry, I haven’t heard of it.

I have created a new thread for Mentor Edition Items.
Please go there to do this, then cut the list from the thread above yours, paste it into your message, and add whatever items you know of that are not in there.
