I think you chose the glow in grey

are you smart and NOT using IE? cause it only works in internet explorer i believe.
]

EDIT: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH..it only works in Explorer..fucking lame

Glowing and shadowing is M$ feature, its no official hmtl code. To have a glowing effect in FF or Opera you have to trick a bit. I just googled a little about it and its some html programming you have to do.

(NOTE: Glow is Internet Explorer only!)

Says right next to the glow option.
Nice post, Newb! :silly2:

Atleast 84% of the visitors on EF can see it, that’s how many that uses IE

Ok…I use FF..how come I can see it?

Or does it “glow” like Neon or its just colored?

I hate opening IE to do anything..it’s like opening Pandoras Box…lol

Edit: I did the unspeakable and used IE. Nope..all I see is brightly colored letters like in FF…hmmm

to me it looks like black letters with a red kind of aura around it, not glowing as in animated but not glowing as in just brightly colored either.

You know that Microsoft commercial where they say “Start anything you like..”
I always get some more sentences in my mind which would fit perfect for that commercial…like:
“Start anything you like…and even if you dont like, WindowsXP starts it”
or
“Start anything you like…like trojans, virusses etc.”

Well just my few cents to it

Some browsers like Opera can act as IE and the visit will be shown as visit with an IE and not Opera  So that 84% is most likely not quite exact and even if 84% of the users use a crappy webbrowser…why do the other 16% have to suffer from that special M$ code ?!  :wise:

Nevertheless, great to know that lots of peeps went to better browser already, because a few years ago that number would have been between 95-98%…

LOL @ Knuckles… sry sry, I try not to laugh at others’ misfortunes… but that is really funny
And ya, I use IE, but I’m n00bish about pc’s anyway :girl:
And finally, Knuck it looks nice… the red makes a real statement… but not as good as mine is :nana: (muhahaha which you can’t see!)

As a piece of advice…IE is full of security holes. I’ve been using Firefox since it was released and Opera prior to that.

Never had anything bad happen yet here at work. Now at home, thats another story. My kids would surf using IE and after 8 or 9 reformats of the HD (and under the threat that I wouldn’t do it any more) FF is the fav flavor of browser now…lol
