If it really is just tools that dont have unlimited possibilities then great. I’m all for it.
We need to make the economy of the game better, and every little bit helps.
(Otherwise great job on informing the playerbase, keep going). ![]()

It’s good to have communication like this.
About the voting system while on one hand it’s good to see the community engaged with game decisions on the other hand it looks like you don’t have a plan for the game and mostly likely trying new stuff and experimenting different stuff, kind of going with the wind and this doesn’t look very promising for a game with 20 plus years.
Besides that all the others points look good. At least you are trying! Keep it up!
They can have a plan, and still ask their customers their opinions. (They can listen, or dont have to - its a choice they have to make).
But for example I listen to what the customers say about our products that my company makes, because I can make it better based on the feedback. I dont have to agree with everything, but I should at least acknowledge it. There are many smart people here that have great ideas (ofcourse there are stupid ones aswell). But I think the playerbase can look at things from many more angles than Mindark - they miss a lot because they dont play daily and in all professions of the game. Its not possible and I dont blame them, I blamed them for NOT even considering the feedbacks. But Socrates seems like he wants to get this back on track, so lets hope they make good choices based on good feedback.
I just do not get it what so ever?
Why the utter silence on any UE5 updates @Socrates|Mindark ??
Us players are getting really frustrated because you are completely ignoring the community again when we ask for any UE5 news or updates?
Will you please answer us and actually give us what we are asking for and actually explain what the delay is or what progress you have made towards an UE5 launch? because the radio silence is just not good.
You do these Dev Blogs now which is again a step in the right direction but again when players reply and ask questions you only choose to answer the ones that are relating to the dev blog and anyone like myself and others who ask for an UE5 update just get blanked and ignored.
We are all human here I hope? So surely you have to understand that the playerbase wants updates.
These dev blog posts are also very rarely done as well.
UE5 has been in development now for 4 years? So please can you shed some light for us all.
All you continue to do with the ignorance and lack of community awareness is alienate the playerbase even more. Steam launch was a great move but it has not been lucrative enough. Mainly due to the fact the game needs a lot of advertising. MA will never pay for advertising they have always relied on the playerbase word of mouth or planet partners. I think MA only advertised this game when it went Gold in 2003. But if you have advertised it with proper ads you paid for since then. Then please correct me.
Thanks
Finaly voting! ?
I like the mayhem thing, hope it’s gonna be fun. Looks promising
As someone else pointed out. Having a outside of instance for the other part of mayhem is only going to annoy people because most of them use macros. MA need to ban the use of bots because all that does is further annoy other players who does not. When you are hunting mayhem mobs or summer migration mobs in the open world in busy areas and they are shared loots it is super annoying when you only want to hunt them solo and you get people shooting your mobs you are shooting.
This happens time and time again and I hate it when it happens.
So again having them outside of an instance is just not good.
Bring back the Annihilation instances please!
Oh and for what it is worth I knew exactly that Socrates would refuse to answer or reply to my post above I made about asking for UE5 news.
I would like to see daily missions with mayhem tokens as rewards; three different daily missions with varying degrees of difficulty that give 5, 10, and 20 mayhem tokens, respectively. Also, a larger mission that will reward an exceptional limited weapon (tradable) at the end, similar to the migration. It is also very important that we can start the codex on a new creature, even if it has similar graphics and a different name (e.g., creatures on planet Aris).
Great communication, thanks Socrates!
BIB - it is Aris
Ah, the voting booths. I remember seeing one in Hadesheim ~19 years ago, I think?
Well, I’ll vote for

[li]an option to mute pets[/li][li]an option to mute the new death sound[/li][li]some official finally posting that we won’t get UE5, because the recent updates in the graphics, UI and all (i.e., stuff we could have seen ten years ago already) were good enough that there is no need to migrate (see Setesh), even though knowing that UE5 would have opened up the game for other hardware and OS-es (native Linux!)[/li][/ul]
A photo in the character editor, my dream has come true (I hope not only newbies, but also older avatars will be given the opportunity to use the new character editor once) I watched the Coen brothers’ film Hail, Caesar belatedly. Just before the creation of the avatar in Entropia.
Some inspiration came and I decided to create an avatar similar to George Clooney’s funny centurion.
It turned out very badly for me, then I decided to make a hairstyle with long black hair like a Comanche Indian without changing the face.
Now I don’t take off my Cthulhu costume
Please allow all players one-time access to the avatar editor with photos. I even prepared and saved a photo.

It’s wild that people still believe UE5 is coming.
The realization that a UE5 overhaul is not going to improve the game or bring in new players must have finally dawned. The overhaul needs to be made on the gameplay/systems, not the engine.
Hurray for mayhemmffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
Hi, can we get change gender please I am so tired of being sick and tired of looking at male butts all day, I give 1000$ easy to get fresh avatar
Probably not, we’re you there on the recent robot world boss event where there was literally hundreds of players on the radar and it was very playable, loads of fun actually. They made changes to and upgraded the server infrastructure.
Also, im absolutely loving the sound of all of this!! We really heading in the right direction now with some real momentum. Exciting.
It was around 2005 when i made my first avatar, and it was possible to make really wild looking avatars and I just loved the creativity and some of the more “unique” approaches to style.
Since that time, I have been around two more times for a character remake and most of the novelty got lost in the process. Suddenly, all avatars looked like some mid 20 ish clones. On the last occasion of a remake, I lamented the leak of making older looking avatars, maybe some wrinkles or signs of middle age, since I didn’t feel like in my mid 20s anymore and jumping to today that feels more true than ever. So just a quick question, not going to reinstall for that reason alone or to see for myself but, has anything changed for the better or is avatar creation still bound to look like a hyper healthy teen kid from a sunny state in a wealthy and developed country or do we have more options that actually mesh with a broader audience and reflect our current ages and help us to identify with it ?
Advertising isn’t the issue here. It’s not even a tiny fraction of the problem. What’s halting the game’s growth is much more systemic than that. I’ve already fed their “adviser” a lot of details about this stuff and what’s been pushing away many players I’ve met and/or those I’ve talked to about joining the game. Sadly, I highly doubt they’re going to act on it, though, based on how so many other things are handled. I genuinely don’t think they WANT growth. The way the game is designed/being pushed has actively proven the opposite time after time after time. The only way I can fathom these things making sense is to assume that the game is trying to attract a few whales and just stagnate with them (which it’s been doing). I assume this is due to things like the outdated architecture where having a doubling of concurrent users would likely cripple the servers and therefore hurt the relationship with the whales.
