I’ve been playing since April 2004, and have deposited around $250-300 US. It had to be through someone else via Paypal, though. I’m getting a credit card in a few months (turning 19) and I think my deposits will increase dramatically.
So for those who havent deposited what is the secret? Did you get a big HoF that allowed you to not have to deposit. Or was it sweating and trading. Just confused, i cannot imagine playing this game if i had to sweat and trade for the first 4 months 6 hours a day.
Any secrets you would like to share?

The only secret is luck, sadly. I havent ever done any trading except for during the time I was sweating. Just trying to get the best price for my sweat. 
I’m almost broke now though.. I’ll be depositing by next month probably.

basicly non-depositers that started 2003, or more like 2002… well its just many uber stuff at some point were easier to lay your hands on.
lots has happened since those days in PE
Well i worked as a reseller for some of the big tailor/crafters ingame… ETOPIA, iulrorck, a bit for Buzz and Auktuma too but only as ore provider. I also sweated a lot. But basically the only thing that helped me is having decent friends ingame and mentors (before that function was implimanted) that showed me the strings and brought me along on hunts in the beginnings.

Played since a few months before PE went gold. Withdrew a lot more than I deposited. Total deposits total to ~$400 though.
It was easier in the old days, you just had to know what you were doing, limit your losses and get lucky :yup: (no sweating or oilrig back then)
As for the uberstuff being easier to get, that’s partialy true. For example shadow harness F was TT’ed but you still had to pay 3k ped for an imk2 ,which was a very high ammount back then heh… If I only knew :laugh:
To get really far in the game without depositing (gear-wise) you need an unreal dose of luck though..

I deposited around $450 within the first 6 months after I started to play which was in April 2003.
started december 2002 deposited ~1200$ withdrew a bit more so still in the clear …my biggest regret …blowing 50k peds to crafting only having them change the system and how skill is attained

No secrets here I guess. Not playing since 2002 or 2003, less than a year actually. Definatly not lucky in my case since I never had a global or hof , only looted 1 generic (weeeeee) and my general hunting or mining turns out to be a loss (I would say it’s MA’s revenge lol).
For me it was all about trading. Very very VERY much patience required and a bit of know-how and intelligence not to waste your resources. I don’t have a big FL or that many connections witch is very important for trading, making my progress very very slow and skills low too.
been playing since june 04 and would have enough to buy a improved adjusted modified Fap-1,000,000,000. So ya I have a gambling addiction. What else am I gonna do with the money, buy food? haha Not when There is A atrox hof out there with my name on it.

I’ve been playing since Nov 2003 and deposited $200USD after frustration attempts at the oilrig. but now I have alot more
Remembered when I couldn’t sell MK2s to anyone and had to TT it.
