Chapter 1: My First Million

This story begins when developers still had imagination. Small company in Sweden in 2011 announced that it will introduce a groundbreaking Citizenship System to Planet Calypso. Citizens will also receive a share in the Planet Partner gross revenue of Calypso, paid weekly.

Anyway, I believed everything MA said, every roadmap they had was dream come true and started depositing and buying CLDs month after month for 13-14 years. Even when they converted the used CLD to CLDX, I still bought the more expensive CLDs with the hope to get my hands on that peace of land they promised in 2011 and released on June 15 2015, the first stage of the Long awaited CLD Estate System became available on Planet Calypso.

Chapter 2: The Deal

In 2023 Calypso Land Deeds have been migrated to the Entropia Exchange. Avatars who held Calypso Land Deed items (not including Calypso Land Deed (X) items) have received one Calypso Land Plot token per deed held, for future use in the Land Plot system. And in 2026 MindArk releases more plots so people can buy them with the remaining Calypso Land Plot tokens. And there is new cooking profession to make plots more useful for the players.

I always wanted to have at least 2 land plots so I can do every profession there is. “Each building comes with a certain number of construction points that you can allocate to construct different kinds of components. There are ‘building’, ‘gardening’, ‘utility’ and ‘industry’ points. The number of construction points varies depending on the size and cost of the building.” The rumors were factories will be possible and even malls on the biggest plots.

On 22 of May 2026 we made a deal for 264 Calypso Land Plot tokens for 26400 peds. 100 ped per token. That was the market price. I sold the other half of my tokens for 100 ped per token and got 2 land plots for me. He doesn’t have all 26400, so we make a deal for 10k peds now and 16400 peds after a week. And I get as collateral 2 limited female armor sets Earth Shock Trooper. Now this is a deal I normally wont do, but he is streaming together with Socrates, interviewing top 10 players in the game, doing official MindArk giveaways, he has official invite code link for Entropia Universe, playing for 8 hours a day, opening thousand of strongboxes. What can go wrong right. You can trust him.

But 7 days become 14 then 21 then 28 then 39. I am logged in Discord, Twitch and the game waiting and flying planet to planet with that armor. Last message was from 27 June that we will fix it this Monday. Monday passed and still nothing. And for that last message he send me a friend request on Twitch that means he removed me as a friend before the deal is over.

He probably have stuff in RL that’s why I waited so long, but after 39 days it start to look like a classic.

And I think he want to give me a small plot. So do I take the small plot, or beg for a big plot, or demand the original deal? Do I make a support case? You think support can help with that?

The person in question, normally very active on discord, hasn’t been on for over a week, so probably is just preoccupied with RL.

I don’t know if this the case, but I remember “Yazuki” ( e.g. Yazuki's hunting log (journey from brand new player to uber) ), who had been involved in a very demanding daily activity in Entropia Universe, with ambitious goals, and urge to succeed.

His result : (I guess) an unsustainable overstress, then an apparent retirement from the game.

I don’t know if this another case (and I don’t want to supply a potential excuse if his situation is entirely different), but when I read of people playing 25/24 -or something like that, hyperactivity - this is a concrete risk.

I think you should get whatever was agreed to by both of you in the original deal, or if the deal was changed and agreed to by both of you.

The time period you waited should be long enough, maybe you should give him 60 days total, but I also think he should have let you know if he is having some difficulties with payment.

From your description this person seems to be in a good enough position to be able to afford the deal you two made.

My suggestion is, give him 2 weeks to get into serious contact with you where you can confirm the payment timeframe with him or refactor the deal if its needed. (In case he cant pay in time, in full, etc…)

I dont think support will do anything to finalize or enforce the deal, they can enforce the entropia TOS, if those have been broken.

Lastly, there is legal action you can take against said player, reporting the case to the police will make it an official matter, and police / court can dictate what the result will be, but you and the other player involved would probalbly have your accounts locked until the matter is legally resolved.

The best is if you can resolve the issue in game, but if you are unable, then the legal course of action might be your only option, and I would check your country laws before going into that.

The guy you are talking is probably more at risk of getting screwed than you are. He owed me like ~4k and I just took an ice shield chip as collateral. It took him a bit like a month to get it back to me but when he did he didn’t remember I even had his ice shield running around so fast, doing so many different thing in game, talking to 100 people on discord/game, while streaming at same time etc. But luckily I’m not a scumbag and i had put it in window after he had accepted the trade already with the ped. As long as he didn’t quit the game or something I’m sure you will get it. Even if not all in 1 shot he had kept asking me if I needed a little $ here n there. Just too many different things going on in his head at same time + too many ambitious goals I think lol.

It’s very unlikely he is a scammer, from what i have seen he has invested quite a lot, one should wonder is everything ok IRL, allot can happen.

I can understand that, but I don’t see “Wait 10 more days and you will get your 16k”.
