Damage.

I seriously didnt know what the title of this thread was supposed to be, but here’s the thing:

Seems to me that when to mobs are shot at, they have a harder time giving damage to you then when you dont hurt them.

Like when you shoot, there are longer between every hit, but when you fap, they hit you easier.

Is this something Im just imagining?

I think you are right Skam I have noticed that also but I am not sure if evade skills have anything to do with it

Yea but if its evade.. then the evade dont work as good when your fapping

I beleave ur right yes.

This might be right since I also noticed it… also it could be my mind playing with me.

Anyone noticed any sort of proportional relation between the mob’s health and the damage it deals? Like, an injured mob has harder time hitting you?
Anything of that sort?

nooo.. I havent noticed any of that sort no.
Just what I explained up there :girl:

So… as long as you’re shooting at it? No matter if you hit it hard or just for 5 hitpoints?

Seems like it yes. You know when you hit and it does that little wiggle. Seem then it takes longer between every hit from the mob if you keep hitting it.
Would be logical tho. Focusing on hitting an opponent would offcourse be harder if your beeing hit yourself.

I think Im gonna measure the time between hits when fapping and hitting and check if this is so. I just need to find a proper timing divice

I have noticed this as well for some time now.
If you notice when you hit the mob he reacts to being attacked, so I guess it makes it harder for him to attack you.

Hmmm… so is there a slight chance of… using a very fast reload weapon, even a weak one, to stay alive?

What’s the fastest weapon currently? Well, not an uber weapon, but something commonly available on the market?

well Im not sure! But if it is so, that fast reload speed also determites how often you get hit, then it has more to say what reload speed it is on the weapon then I have thought of before!

-Ahh man I love the fact that me and Gnasher bought adj v1 yesterday

But then again. The weapons with fast reload usually have short range.
So maybe this is on purpose so that also those who use short-ranged weapons dont get hit all the time?

Well, with the current avatar running speeds, longshots get hit pretty often pretty fast too. I’m a longshot my whole career, and I take a lot of damage with this VU. I used to be able to take out an atrox adult before it got to me. Not anymore. Now not even atrox young.

So what you noticed is very helpful.

Mobs have always “being hit” -animation which is shown when you hit the mob. Most of time the mob cant attack while that animation is being shown so shooting mob actually seems to slow them down. I think its most clear with drones who clearly shot running from every hit.

I’m with you i’ll take it even once crazier step. I honestly think that if you time it right to hit them the sec before they would attack they wont. Thus why i dont just click away like crazy. I dont have that great of evade skills yet i’ve done many a kill where they don’t hit me once using that method.

Take for example exo’s just before they attack they sort of go on there back legs. Shoot them then and you’ll get hit less i find.

But mabey i’m just crazy.

I used to think the same thing, until I noticed that the damage is actually dealt before the animation starts. So you have to count in your head the avarage attack-rate of the mob you are dealing with.

But, on the topic of damage, is it just me, or do mobs hit more often if they are more than one? I can take down one exa without a scratch, but 2 almost kill me, if you see the point. Is there any skill that relates to how you handle more-than-one attacks?

Unlock Avoidance  Then maybe Quickness, I can take 2 Trox domi some times

And i noticed this hunting argos recently skam

I also noticed it. I use a fap-5 and when I’m hunting Argo’s it’s better to take the change to die then fap like crazy, because when I’m healthed for 10 points, it hits me for 9 points. And yes I do take a lot more damage when fapping then when hitting 'm with my axe. :wise: :frowning: :wise:
