All new weapon are for the moment very hight decay and bad dmg/pec but good look and good dmg. Need adj/imp/mod version of this new item or unique

I just realized something. mabey the decay is not so bad after all. Mabey it’s like the whip and it has a very high AVERAGE dmg. i’d want it if it did 50-53 dmg consistantly.
It does.
Paul used it a bit to test it out.
He had like 90 in shortblade and very little melee skill. He’s a rifle guy.
The Dagger does 53 max, and he was getting like 45-49 out of it almost everytime…I can only imagine the consistency of a higher skilled shortblader using it.
BTW, he hasn’t seen it “speak” to him or show the name on the blade yet.
well if the average dmg is constant and high, then it’s not that bad of a melee weapon… like with all weapons, only experience will tell.

Is it worth the 10k being asked for it though?
He threw it on the auction for that price for two reasons:
1- To let people see it and let them have time to think about what they would want to pay for it.
2- We were told by many people to put it in auction, but we had no idea what to put it as…so it’s just 1 ped, we don’t figure to get any bids at that price, but know people can see it there.

I use a cobra me and my decay is about 5 pec/per shot… avg dmg is about 20. So yes, i do consistently good dmg with it, but the decay is far better than on this dagger.
In any event, it’s nice to have a new, fun melee weap in game regardless, and there will always be ppl willing to spend a little more for a rare item
