[SIZE=2]When I woke up this morning, I did as I usually do, I logged into Project Entropia to check what was going on. I had almost forgot the fact that LandGrab; The Second Coming’s first round was today. I wasnt really thinking Id care much. Since, seriously, I havent in the past. This time it was different. This time I have been sitting 12 hours straight on the PC to follow landgrab and its participants closely. Taking notes, getting killed, and at rare occations, kill. [/Size]
[SIZE=3]LandArea 8: The Riot[/SIZE]
When I first was invited over to LandArea 8, I thought Id go have a quiet chat with the guys in Desert Rangers. I was ever so wrong. I entered a full riot, with calypsians from every part of the continent. Shaolin’s, Ex Cons, https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/5/8/DR.jpgWhite Tigers, some Amethera Demons, Calypso Conquerors, Desert Rangers and alot of individuals were fighting eachother. Once in a while they would stop up, wondering who was really on who’s team. Several times the Claim was shifting hands. Ex Cons, Shaolin and Desert Rangers. The way there wasnt easy. Shaolin, after a while, pulled out of the area, and left the war to the rest. Ex Cons and White Tigers worked together to make Desert Rangers’ loose their claim. Sometimes they were extremly close.
At the revivalterminal Tory was holding back Desert Rangers, not letting them back to their claim. Also I, just a reporter, was held at Revival several minutes. Several times there was just one Desert Ranger left standing defending the claim, until the others came back from the revival.
As for Equipment, there was quite easy to see who was against who. Team DR was wearing the traditional Shadow-armor mostly, while White Tigers and Ex Cons were using the elegant Eon. BLP seemed to be the fashioned firearm.
Even tho the parties were attacking and defending for their life, they still had time to joke inbetween, keeping a good atmosphere depsite the war. And just as things were starting to calm down a bit, Tory from Calypso Conquerors joins the scene and shoots everyone at sight, making all parts turn on him.
At a point, the server went down on LandArea 8 a while, making the time on the claim to reset. The MA-Monitor changed this to the time DR's had control, so problem was fixed. Not even the MA-Monitor was left alone in the riot, and was killed several times. At the end of the day MA-monitor came in with god-mode, meaning you cant be shot.
When I leave LA8, DR’s are fighting White Tigers once again. There has only been small breaks for them. I wonder how they manage to go to the toilet, since I rarely see them do anything but fight. Kitty claimed they were wearing diapers, but I hope theres another logical explanation.

Sleepy lands of cK [/SIZE]
https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/gallery/files/5/8/ck.jpgWhen I come to coat Killer’s claim in the large LandArea5-Habitat North of Omegaton City, I experience a whole different reality. Not only isnt there more then 9-10 people there, but also chat is silent and no gunshots are heard. Some of the socmembers are afk, and mostly its Angel, Da and azze from cK thats acctually moving. Its clearly visible that they’re bored. Da the oilstacking master have allready made half the cK sign in oilbarrels, but are having trouble with the K. Thats the biggest problem they have had it almost seem. ‘The only thing that attacked us is sleep’ Angel says. And I get the feeling he’s yawning in real life.
So, Im wondering, why dont anyone attack cK when it was 6 different socs on the LA8 represented? ‘Because they had a bad experience. A painful and costy memory from last landgrab. Not only were they not able to kick us from our land, but we kicked them from theirs.’ Angel claims.
This has becomed a easy landgrab for them. ‘We’re thinking of maybe growing falx yougns here’. So now I know where to go in the future if I feel a little suicidal.

Calm PK’ing[/SIZE]
Warants greet me as I get close to LA-2. Maybe because I have allready shouted “Dont shoot the reporter” the greeting isnt in bullets. Or maybe they are just nice. When I arrive I meet a few Black Angel HeadQuarter’s in the bushes, and Rony is having fun poking Warants with an improved strikehammer. Even tho he takes out a few, the Warants seem calm. They dont run around. When Rony stops up they start shooting. Eventually they take him out.
‘There hasnt really been any action here… BAHQ with company tried, but it seemed no other soc’s wanted the claim.’ Mjukis tells me. I remember back to the EBN report stating that “YFRONT” had attacked. Obviously it wasnt much of an attack as it wasnt mentioned.
‘Farm.’ Thats the answer I get from Vixen when I ask if they have any plans for the land. Warants dont seem to be very chatty. ‘Corns maybe’ it comes a few seconds later. I would imagine thats a good idea, seeing how many that is skilling on Argus Beach. It could be a good source of income.
Rony returns and start his poking again. Testing the Warant’s patience? I take a stray shot and die. He says sorry. Im moving on to next LandArea.

Cute Conquerers?[/SIZE]

Tory has been one of two pk’ing me deliberatly while I have been working as a reporter this day. When I get closer I see Tory isnt there. Instead a large pec-art writing saying “LA 7” loads in front of me. I greet manic, and I get told he’s sleeping by one of his socmates.
I have earlier guessed that it has been pretty calm at this claim. Mainly because I have seen several CC’s at different places occationally. At some point they dont speak english, and I dont understand squat of what they are saying. I understand the word “noob” tho, and wonder if it is me they are talking about. Well I dont mind. Im a proud noob.
‘ron killed Marco!’. I laugh. Thats the immediate answer I get after asking if there were any fights here today. Obviously this was the highlight of the day.

Its a welcomed item, and the CC’s that isnt allready sleeping irl gather around and try to lie down. I leave them, so they can bring their teddies out of the inventory and sleep. Thats what cute people do.
[B]My day stops back at DR's[/B]. Its calm, people are joking, and its more crowded there then on any of the other Land Areas. Maybe because that I havent seen DR once attack any of the civilians that come to watch the landgrab, making them popular. Before I even get to ask what they are planning to do with the land, [B]Qualia asks the question what do WE want see on the land.[/B] [I]'Gibnib! Only Gibnib' [/I] I hear from the crowd. Also Fugabarba, Tantardion and Itumatrox are mentioned. We get the message that we should only expect low level mobs. Its more than one that wanna keep the cuddly mermoth's that is allready in the area. Fungoids can also be found here, in fact they have been dropping by a couple of times into the riot, spreading its toxic fumes.
I leave PE a little, letting my boyfriend sit here aswell. He’s acheing of abstinense and I feel his pain. I go to lie down, my neck is a wreck after endless hours in front of the comp. It wasnt my intention to sleep however. When I wake up again LandGrab is over. All the one’s I have told that held the claims were the ones that ended up with them. DR had a visit of cK’s and CC at the end of their claimperiod, after they had finished their own. They visited, tho they didnt try to claim it. ‘But they killed a few noobs’.
I really like it… ok, for more productive feedback… nice personal interpretation. Always good from journalists, esp covering events like this…
