At the moment, no, there is no use for filters. People used to use them as carpet in their apts, but I don’t think you can even drop them anymore.
There are a few items that are used in the creation of other things. Basic Screws, Hardened Bolts, Basic Rings and a few others. The filters are mainly for skilling.

yeah i know filters arent but what are the others used for?
Yeah, before you get really good, everything u will craft will basicly be TT food… if you wanna start the way that you skill on mechanical equipment.
BTW, filters are droppable but in bigger bulks so that their tt is higher i think, that makes sense doesnt it? 
Btw, you can be proud about yourself that you are a crafter… noble I think.
Just say it: “I am a crafter, all the miners and hunters wouldnt be using their rascals and extractors and Kat Valors without people like me” :laugh:

Furniture BPs include components ( screws if i remember corectly ) and the L BPs that droped lately also need some components. Their use is limited at the moment but in the future low components might have a important role.

Some components are allso used when making hangars and spaceships functionable. 
And the lvl 3 bone replacement are used by the beauty business in the game. 
Electronic Components:
Basic Relays (Level 1):
6 used in Matterfinder MF-210 (L)
10 used in Matterfinder MF-211 (L)
No Mechanical components are used in anything I know of
Metal Components:
Basic Sheet Metal (Level 1):
7 used in Armor Plating 2D
Basic Rings (Level 2):
12 used in Nano Katana (L)
Basic Screws (Level 2):
4 used in Jamora Shelf
12 used in Eleganto coffe table (L)
2 used in Klub chair (L)
Hardened Bolts (Level 5):
7 used in Montgomery Diabolic (L)

This does not drop. Or it is extremely rare. I heard that one person has it. Beyond that… :dunno:

Basic Tube
Hi everyone. I’m a true noob, just started manufacturing filters, but I got (looted) two Basic Tube BP lvl 1. Should I diversify and try skilling on them as well ( I will obviously try and sell one ), or it is better to simply stick to the filters until certain skill level is reached?
Stick to filters. Low lvl BPs aren’t worth much at all. Put in your BP book, put em in storage, or TT them. If you are going to craft filters on the large scale (thousands of clicks) you’ll get many many low lvl BPs. Stick to filters until you get some decent skillz.
