Why is it that on Calypso we have ppl that walk around covered in pink from head to toe??? Yet we do not have access to coloring with black?!? 
What’s going on here? Has a flamingo vomitted all over MA’s office, thus provoking an odd array of clothing colours in game that most of us would never be caught dead in irl?

btw- I’m really not trying to bash the pink (even thought I cannot stand it personally)… jw about MA’s intentions with the clothes… grrrr… I could go on and on and on and on and on… and on… and… etc 
Whole coloring scheme is really messed up.
Originally MA prolly wanted to make colors somewhat desired. They choose blue and yellow color because of swedish flag and then orange (which is least favored color in the world). All colors other than those are more or less rare.
I think they should remove skill based coloring totally and make coloring success every time (amount of cans used would determine color saturation). It would really boost tailoring.
I really miss red color… on the look of one pic MA sent out it should come?

I think the best would be if there was some “basic” colors, and that you was able to combine them to get a lot of other colors, maybe with some new “combiningskills”

I actually loved Lomo’s unique idea of color extractor. 
You would have a tool which would extract color from plants. Thus to get purple paint you would need to go and search for purple flowers and then extract.
Of course extracting could take long time and produce color essence (tt=0.00) which would be then combined with colorless paint base looted from mobs to create paint cans.
Something for noobs to do. Supply of all colors. Everyone would be happy. Hear me Marco

Well i know she has black, i had 1 can, other have a ton stored up…
And she did say she could use it im pretty certain

I’m with you guys here…
and Starman I also think they ought to have a colour-wheel of sorts so that the better you become the more hues of colours you can craft … but a color like black or white… this should be available for any1 to craft. It ought to be colours like pink or fuscia or dandellion or whatever that would be difficult to do Then these colours would be rare, and rare is good.
But alas, what’s done is done. i doubt there is any way to fix it now

back in the old days blue was the most expenive and hard color to get. because of that blue was concidered a royal color.
First cothes dont even intresting me in PE cause honestly i can’t stand the color selection we got.
I think Starman and Essi’s idea is awesome and should be combined and implemented. All we should have is 3 basic color’s and white and black and you should be able to mix them esentially to what ever you want and a matching skill would work well too.
Extracting color from plants just makes more sense then getting can’s from an animal (weapons i can mabey understand cause the creature ate a hunter carying it )

Sarah was offering her coloring services last week at Ithaca saying she could colour anything including black.
Arthur’s idea is a good one.
How about being given “swatches” the further skills progress. Everyone starts with a basic 1 colour palette and can build up to 256.
With that amount of colours and also the textures, a LOT of variety can be made.
Black should be the highest colour available as it will always be the most desirable but I’m not too sure about the generic colour of “uncoloured” clothes - that dark gray stuff looks much better than what some people do to it.
Does anyone know what the fasion designer skill does?
I have this nice idea in my head that one day you will be buying “starman brand black atrox master coat”

Havent heard about anything no… Hoped the new colors would be somewhat a frequent drop, like when light green and pink were introduced.

LOL indeed I am Actually, I prefer to call it salmon My closet at home, for the record, is mostly chocolate brown… and a lot of black of course. One pink top, two yellows, about 5 kelly greens (I love green), and a few oranges
Oh…I see…Salmon is it…my mistake.
Don’t you know the differance? I mean you have salmon , corals, fuscias etc :P, but I also think this, I mean you should be able to have a shading option when tailoring (meaning since black and white are shades not colours, that they should be able to have more or less white when you colour it or maybe you can make a black bustier, or a white one just from tailoring) and the colours you should be able to have a desired colour level, like a bar perhaps that you could move up and down to how grey or how bright you want the paint to come out
Just my 2 pec on this tho - gotta rememebr I’m 13 and my mind is crazy from almost a year now of PE
