I have been trying to color skill and have not been able to determine with any certainty the most efficient way to do it.
Is it more efficient to place 1 pot of paint in 1 color patch, 1 pot of paint in each open color patch, 20 pots of paint in 1 color patch or 20 pots of paint in each open color patch?
Which is the best way to get the most color skills?
1 pot in 1 fields is best.
take cheapest color you can , because they are all same.
all clothe decay exactly same when you bleach (7 pec) and all give same skill ( from my test).
cheapest bleacher is CBA 5 ME 12 pec decay , there also 1 pec decay on pistol for coloring or bleaching.
so 1 try is 21 pec decay + paint cost ( usual orange at 300% so 3 pec)
7 pec decay on a clothing item when bleached?
12 pec decay on the bleacher itself?
1 pec decay on colour gun
3 pec paint cost?
=21 pec…
since people skill clothes too, and usually just ditch them to the tt ( no-one buys manel shoes.. i only put 2-3 on auction with the highest tt value.. )
so wouldn’t it make economical sense to buy the shoes off the tailors for maybe +10 pec.. saving the decay on the bleacher, and the decay on the clothes..
or do you get colouring skills from bleaching too?

in past bleacher was bugged and dont decay.
also , to get som skill point for me 5 , i need over 1000 paint.
since inventaire is limited at 200 item , and trade 30 item …
its very very very boring to skill on clothe.
in other hand skilling coloring is most boring things i ever see.
no skill from bleacher.
thanks for info sarah , i will rechec all …
MA are very boring to change decay in coloring and dont change for real the whole coloring.
they could put bleach at 1 or 2 pec too
Thanks everyone thats interesting. I’ve been getting into the tailoring colouring business as a sorta hobby for a while but have a bad rule that I only make things that get used - ie no TT’ing. I’ve been colouring but only things I want to colour and always go for best chance with 20 pots.
I didn’t realise there was little difference (skill) with only one pot. I have a cba 2 so I may just blow some time colouring and rebleaching some time if I can’t think of anything to make that I actually want (or can sell).
I generally don’t believe in “skilling” though as a practice and for this reason I’m doomed to newbiedom forever more. Never mind its fun on the ground looking up
Thanks everyone for your most informative replies. Etopia, what you said is much as I figured. I have skilled with about 3000 pots of paint (blue, orange and yellow - looted and bought) and am just shy of 400 in color clothes…and yes, it was DAMN boring, :tongue2: but at least I got to catch up with the society chat, something I am very lax with. :grouphug:

dont complain skill are a lot faster then in past.
it take me a lot more try than that to get my first 300 skill point back in the time only with clothe used 1 time ( no bleacher).
