Basically same type of thing that happened with HM in a way but with the BPs and being able to nano stuff from trade terminal. Like why isn’t stuff tested first it makes no sense to do all the work of making new content to not just take a day and test it or at least catch it within few hours not months. New content should bring MU not destroy MU from bugs and exploits.
What is HM?
There are different types of testing. The best being exhaustive where every permutation or possibility of everything is comprehensively and systematically tested. This of course would take a lot of manpower and time. Unrealistically large amount of time. So in reality it’s not a practical solution. Hence why games and other software companies do sensible types of testing which aren’t perfect but are more cost effective and practical.
Also with a live environment and testing environment can be differences. So some bugs won’t show up in testing environment but will in live.
Not that it matters since ill prolly be perm banned, but it would be helpful to not punish people that report. I mean we are free testers. Imagine how many $$$$ Thousands of dollars of lost profit I just saved Aris. Sure I tested over a couple days and pulled 3 parts. Okay… It cost money to do the testing i was doing. I even pointed the team in the direction of what I thought was the cause. After Cinderak is killed it spawns more mobs… None of the other instances that ive done will do that. This creates a loop. If you kill all mobs and none respond, I dont think there would be an issue. Only reason i came to this conclusion is through testing. I didnt profit even with the parts lol I’m a good looser in this game and MA can confirm I’ve depo’d like 4 times in the last 2 weeks just to play lol. (Over $1,000 usd). Even over $10k usd this year alone lol. At least when im perma band i can leave knowing i at least saved the armor market and made it fair for everyone.

Seriously the worst luck player in the universe lol. Maybe they are doing me a favor by banning me. I know my wife would be happy me playing less lol.
If everything were tested very thoroughly before patching, something like this would not be possible.

Reporting an exploit does not give you the “go ahead” to use the exploit for “testing”… Should’ve stopped right there when you noticed it and reported it… you even went ahead and pulled armor parts for the tokens you received from the exploit?

It’s not even that it shouldn’t get that far in the first place. You’d think they’d have come across silimiar exploit in past where u can logout and have it reset or whatever mechanic. So like do a different mechanic and don’t make that 1 since you know it can be exploited? Or say ok there’s no other way around it but to use this risky mechanic. Ok so keep an eye on it here n there setup an alert for same avatar looting said mob in 24 hr period? Nope just pump out content as fast as humanly possible with no regard for exploits and current and future MU.
Another example is the new puny robot instance that gives a voucher. That right there welcomes huge alt army with a 100 hp boss and they must know these alts exist. What wrong with the lvl 20 mobs they had that anyone who has played a week tops can kill and keeps the MU of vouchers, catalysts, and bps etc. Lowering that level to fresh alt level is only going to kill the MU and aris armor 20x faster speed now than it would have otherwise. Just weird decisions sometimes.

Sorry to say but you know how the instances work, if one day it deviates from the normal way you should have left it as is and report it immediatly.
You decided though you will do your own “testing” to conclude there is an bug/exploit, on a RCE game you can’t do that, same as when i see ppl using vehicles to kill mobs i am against that.
Okay but imagine if every single glitch, twitch, or sneeze were reported? Oh wait they prolly are and MA can barley handle what bugs are here. Big reason I tested it before messaging the PP. Why should i waste peoples time if theres not an issue? Id rather investigate and provide a whole picture. Regardless it prolly wont matter since ill most likely be perma band. But hey, at least youll have a fair shot at the armor and people save money so theres that.
Now i understand why there was people laughting at my post even with the correct MU math… probably some of them was abusing the exploit or know someone that did… anyway i wish you dont get perma-ban, thanks for beinging this to light

You are not a MindArk employee, you abused the system even admit to it, i don’t understand what other outcome you expected.
You keep using the word testing, but you did none of that, plain and simple.
Stop giving exploiters a “lil slap on the wrist”. They are stealing money from your honest users… its not like theyre stealing imaginary money from some kinda tree its growing on. Just enact a policy where when its obvious abuse to take advantage of others to nuke their accounts or this will never end.

I did it before and after the update to confirm. I wasnt exploiting for months or taking advantage and making millions here. I was trying to find out the problem and pass that info along. By your logic I guess no one should ever find or report any bugs. Guess we should just let it stay broken and let people make a fortune off others.

Righttt… not wrong kid obviously he reported it or they’d never know but if MA simply announced u exploit:
1st offense = 1 month ban
2nd offense = 6 month ban
3rd offense = 1 year ban
4th = permanent

Same goes for alts give 1 final warning alts not allowed after 1 week so people can transfer their shit. Then announce same thing but offense happens to alt + main. Same with bots etc clean the game up. Omg could u imagine the MU even with letting all the other shit decisions fly it would be insane and so would player retention because of it.
I disagree. There’s been so many examples of clear exploits so there should be no grace period for it. The times its been so obvious you could tell right from wrong and people still do it, and at the cost of the average user, i dont care. Get em out. Nuke the account. And hiding behind “well i reported it and now im testing it… and making bank” is not a valid defense. Cus im sure the “testing” doesnt involve any selling.
Im honestly sick of the corner cutting and abuse of the average player. Get these bad actors out of here.
