I’m just wondering how many use chips all the time for hunting?

Ive been skilling MF (esp Psy) lots recently mostly with focus changes but I tried a potent NB chip while hunting trox youngs naked, I was sell impressed at the skill gains, sure I used more ME than focus skilling but I got some loot (soon as LG is over I’m getting me a couple of FS chips)

I use my fap for healing when I need to and a heal chip for less urgent heals, I find the reverse reload on the NB chip works so well for tanking mobs :slight_smile:

I think my view of hunting with chips was incorrect as I tried when I was noob, thot ‘that sucks’ and never went back but now I’m quite happy with the results now I have ok skills.

also before I submit a support case, has anyone else experienced reload issues with chips? it seems when I fap then swap back I get the reload animation on my avatar but the reload back stays at full and I cant fire :expressionless:

Yes, I noticed the animation gets stuck also. Hally mentioned it in a MF wishlist somewhere.

I hunt with lvl6 nerve and heal and lvl4 firestorm but it eat ME fast. I was skillling on cornu. I am not too keen on the decay/ME usuage compared to decay/ammo usage for my guns to kill a simple cornu.

But yes, MF hunting is fun.

I go out skilling with NB once in a while..and occationally use potent firestorm for fun…but the decay and me useage is just not economical compared to weapons.

as long as ME stays above 100% hunting with MF will never be economical - not to mention most combat based chips have high decay comparable to there pec value in ME used
