I’m a newbie here.
I installed PE today and tried to log in to play it.
However, everytime when I logged in, I can read the short introduction “Your Journal …” and that’s it. It automatic jumped out after this introduction. Please please help me with this problem.

Could you please tell me where I can find the information to see if my graphics card is supported or not and how I can update my DX? Thanks again for your kind help.

The “Download” link on the game’s offical page. Both links to update DirectX and a list of supported graphics cards. The ClientLoader (the program from which you login) also tells you if your system/drivers are supported/up to date.

Sorry to bother you again. I installed the DX 9 and checked my laptop system. Then I got a check list when I logged in PE and based on that list, everything is okay (all green mark). However, I still got the same problem. Do you have any advice? Should I run it at desk top instead of my laptop?
You could always try to see if the problem persists on another computer. If it does it might be something with the connection. If the program works on the desktop your problems are most likely hardware related (even though you have a all green on the checklist). No real advice more than trying on another computer for now.

How can I get it??
Are you behind a router or firewall?
When I first tried PE I kept getting disconnected after a few seconds. A techie friend found that the “Denial of Service flood protection” on my router was blocking PE and had to reconfigure it.
P.S. Don’t ask me:
a) what that means…
b) how to do it!
