Hi. I think it’d be a great idea if mutants were able to drop mid-range BPs of any kind. Specially BPs for gear that is usually looted. Maybe a BP book for this stuff too, but with blank slots. The BPs could even have a quality rating (as if the mutant had been using it) ranging from, say, 1-49.9 QR. Or just regular BPs, of any level, worked or no. It could make more people take up crafting and maybe limit the lop-sidedness of a few gamers having access to a lot of BPs. Some incentive for fresh PEers.
Of course people will very soon realize that crafting takes a lot of skill not to ruin you entirely, just like anything in the game. Pros and cons?
Mutants could drop bp-books for future crafting areas and a type of beginner bp’s in that area.
Other bp’s you should gain by general crafting in that area.
What mutant should not do is to drop bp’s that drop when you manufacture items today. It will not be fair for the crafters. It is enough that mobs drop the best items, animal parts, GSI’s and ore. Hopefully they don’t start to drop bp’s in general also.
I so agree, Kjetil - just wish you had some option ‘lower chance of success, up the chance of a bp generated’ some ‘double material used’ thing maybe? Could become fair.
What a about a special bp book that is only looted from mutants.
Maybe callled Mutant tech bp book.
And contains bps lootable, no bps able to be looted while crafted untill u reached a certain level in mutant technology which wil give u unlockable skill.
yhis skill should only be able to get raised by crafting mutant tech items
Mutant understanding or something. this will make u able to loot mutant tech bps since u understand there techonolgy enough to be able to invent/develop new mutant tech.
Personally I disagree with looting bp’s of hunting, you should only get them crafting.
However, if you hit a cyborg if we ever see them (re: professor barton is dead) then pehaps you can loot a special bp to make cyborg implants for entropians and such. Other than that, keep it in the crafting world.

Thats a good idea but there should be some kind of a class of item bp’s that could be looted and these should only be aquired from creatures and not when crafting
I DID loot a blueprint of some sort from a Combibo or Exarosaur last March. It was one of my first hunts ever in PE, and i really didnt take it for much… So I TT:d it for the whole 1pec worth that it had
I found out later that day, that prints can be worth thousands of peds, and was pretty shocked to find out that none of my friends had Never even heard of mobs dropping Blueprints. They ofcourse asked what BP it was, but i had (Still dont have) no idea… As i said i didnt take it for much
I even filed a supportcase about the matter, blaiming that LAG that we had alot in that VU, was the reason for my “accidental TT incident” :silly2: Didnt work though ;

I just hope it was a bug of some sort, and the BP that i actually TT:d was some settler shins or something :laugh:
