Market value.
you do know that completely ignores 100% of player-to-player trading?
How many items do you craft and sell?
p2p is quite behind AH sells for nearly everything, except for amps and enhancers.
yesterday i sold zombie eye to someone actively seeking it in RT trade chat for 110%
market value shows only 100.5% for the year or decade, nothing else.
does it mean it never happened?
Its because its used on the item that actually sells.
I do buy items, from other planets, with no yearly sells.
Its different from what we are talking about here.
exactly my point, this is exactly why we cant just get rid of something because there is nothing in market data⌠you just said it yourself people do look after things even if market data doesnât always reflect that fact
There is no point. BPs we are talking about here, again, dont use any items at all for the reasons described above.
There is nothing wrong with been niche and rare crafts. But there are hundreds of BPs that are not that.
for now⌠but they are still in the game. maybe they belong. maybe they dont.thing is we dont know whats coming in a month, a year, 5 yearsâŚ
So you feel the need to keep hundreds of useless BPs in the pool instead of releasing 1-2 in the same patch that new item does. Do you think its reasonable?
EL doesnt work and i cant see how much you craft. Just trying to understand if you actually have to deal with this, or its all based on some theories.
i do not craft, only theories. maybe they should be gone. but theres a chance that maybe they dont. its just not something that can be decided on a whim
so there are some BPâs that truly are dead ends. iâm not talking necessarily about things that show no auction house history.
but a lack of auction house history does imply low volume, which has a cause, and a solution. a little TLC goes a long way.
the other problem is related but not the same, which is extremely limited BP copies that are disappearing through attrition which are needed to access content or craft some items as a component.
all of this requires some thought and development, doesnât happen on its own for sure.
I dont think its a problem per se.
I do own few Terramaster BPs and omw to acquiring a new one. They all were hard to find. And i wouldnt want it any other way nor before nor after my purchase. There have to be common, uncommon, rare and extremely rare BPs. Like with everything in this game.
What i do agree with: is attrition. Useful BPs that dont drop anymore sitting in storages of dead accounts.
That doesnt help the market or the game in general. Item pool should account for ânot been usedâ for X amount of time. Not just the total quantity of copies in the world.
yeah when i mean extremely limited i mean âthey no longer drop and are slowly going away due to attritionâ
i get that some bpâs are just rare drops and iâm down with that.
