BLP Guns/Skilling Advice

Hi guys -

I have decided to skill up on BLP. Any advice on a good “economical” BLP weopon? I have noticed that alot of the charts do not have dacay for many of the BLP guns.

What I would like is something very versitile.

Hmm- just a quick comment, even though I am highly unqualified to answer for blp’s… but imo blp’s decay much faster than carbines. Not certain why you cannot find decay stats, there should be some around somewhere :wink:

There arent many lowlvl blp guns that is very economic around…but once u put a dante on em they turn quite economic, and good.

But anyway, for skilling you should use FreanD Delta or VAT-100 id say. Well skillhunting that is. Hunting mediocre mobs like cornundacauda/feffoid at phoenix or so works very nice. The best BLP weapon to skill with is Adj V1, but u have to give 3.5-4.5k for one. Crazy fast and somehow it has some crazy skillgain too…U get skills faster with it, but i don’t know how and why :slight_smile:

I used an Maddox 1 skilling 1000 peds in a ring..worked out really nice..like 10 ped decay :smiley:

I like FreanD Delta / Maddox IV for skilling blp. They are the same gun with different names and looks so go for any of them. You can hunt with them and they are super fast.

FreanD Alpha ME are too slow, didn’t time it when i tested it though. But economy is ok on it.

most economical might be using v2 for blp skills and a m2201 for handgun its double trouble but its fast and ur skills will increase alot

maddox 4 :slight_smile: damn fast and well … fast :stuck_out_tongue: + you can kill like anything with it.. which makes skilling alot more fun :smiley:

THis is a very descent pistol to skill cheap, I myself skill with it aswell Pretty nice. Only point i dont really like is its slow speed. But decay is low (sorry dont know exact figure) And it has a ncie dmg rate.

Other then that Vat-100 wud be ok for rifle skilling :smiley:

Has anyone made decent research on blp amps?

I have heard claims that at least laser amp damage does not depend on skills. Thus with high skills it actually can lower dam/pec.

Dante looks great in charts but if its real average damage is about 50% of maximum (4.4 → 2.2 dam/pec) it can lower economy of weapons… hunter who does 65% of max damage on average does better with even vat-100 (3.8 → 2.5 dam/pec).

Anyone know about this? :slight_smile:

Yes i dont know how adj v1 works liek that either, but when i used mine all the time my rifle skill went up at a crazy rate along with my blp tech, adj v1 rocks! i am thinking about getting one again

if you intend too ‘skill’ ie. trapped mob, in the ring etc then use the FreanD Alpha ME as it has a CRAZY low decay by far the best i have been told.

If you intend too skill hunt, then yes, as above the ADJ V1 is the king :slight_smile:

I don’t have the proper tools needed to test avarage damage, for real. I want atleast 1000 shots to test something, and sitting and looking on screen and writing damage 1000 times per test subject just doesn’t work :slight_smile:

It does work, but damn is it painful!! I did some tests for myself with Mann Mph unamped, and Mann Mph amped with A102 (I did 1000 shots amped and 500 shots unamped and I’d had enough!). I wanted to do some more testing, since the first 500 shots with the amped Mann Mph yielded very good results :wink:

Well, with the new skill system and whatnot I have decided to start skilling my BLP Handgun. I have a Frean Alpha ME and will be working on this for awhile.

I’ll attempt to post my results here as I go :slight_smile:
