Hi guys,
Just wondering what are the best armors/weapons/places are for a noob to start with?
Please also add the usual prices of these items, just so I know I wont get ripped off (again)

I would say best rifle would be the jester d-1. I think they are pretty cheap, around 5 ped or so. I dont really know, though, cuz my mentor bought mine 
a cheap and apparently ok pistol is the Mann MPH and its quite cheap (a couple of peds) or you could go an axe. Not sure about the armor as I dont have any but I guess it depends on what you are going after.
d1 or mann would be good if you had 1 ped at your disposal 
imo best rifles that dont cost toooooo much are the mk2 (tt+40) or some handgun like the ep40 (tt+15 or so?)
Cool…well I’ve got 10 axes, a Jester D1, Mann MPH and I think a Punisher rifle…plus I have around 165 PED at my disposal. I just wanted to make sure the weapons I was using were suitable given my level of noobishness.
So what armors would you recommend with using an axe? I’ve been browsing the auction and would like something visually appealing and effective in defence.

Yeah, I’d say for armor Pixie, Rascal, Gnome and Goblin. And for weapons, well now it seems like the TT rifle Opal is very nice, I’d go with that, or some 1x0 axe perhaps.

If possible, go naked Decay on armour is now calculated on the amount of damage that is absorbed; so standing in the middle of 10 Berycled with Rascal is going to give you a very nasty decay bill.
Figured that would be the case.
I’ll go pick up some black clothes at the store and spend a crap load of money on ammo and repairing my axes and go kill stuff

I think that u can u use a pixie armor for start…it has a good decay!And a axe 1x0 for start it’s good.Try the new rifle at the TT that rifle is like the jester D-1 and it costs just 3 ped.Good luck hunting!
Forget about armor forget about axes ;). Ive changed my view on this recently. Hunting with axes 4 hunts in a row I lost minimum 11 ped. Changed my gun to the new TT rifle and now im only down 5 ped per hunt. So that seems like a better way on your road to breaking even ;). A big notice to this is that I had far better skills in axe then in rifle.

Which TT rifle do you mean? Not sure which one is the newest…

That would be the opalo rifle. 3.8 ped if i remember correctly. There’s also the older punisher that can be brought from the weapons dealer in Hadesheim for example.

I will recomend to use rifle from TT - Opalo. Very good stats gwaranted to evry player. Now TT stuff become the best choice for newcomers. Good luck in hunting and at the begining forget about armour - it is better to buy FAP5 and start increase skils in it than paying decay of armor.

Now that we are on the subjekt anyway :). Someone got any good advice on which fap to start with and why. Should think we end up between fap 5 - 28 for newcomers. Anyone got a good point here?.
And btw just so no one misses that TT armor is still MAJOR crap so dont go there
I’ve only been playing 4 days myself…so I could be talking rubbish
I have a Jester D1 and a Mann MPH but after the last patch changes I have found the TT guns give me higher damage potentials (look on info on them all once they are in your inventory).
I guess that’ll chage as I skill up but for now the TT equip. seems to be the best for us noobs.
I don’t have an axe so I haven’t compared it to the TT shortblade, anyone got that info?

TT weapon seam to be the best for a noob. This is very good, beacouse noobs can very easy be tricked by scammers.
I’m noob and use opalo. Is better than D1 jester. I have an axe 1x0 but is very expensive compared with opalo.
good charts etc. about weapon decays can be found in here, i think it is not up to date for the latest VU changes, but good tutorial here.
