I am certain that many are aware that TT clothes are no longer being sold. A previous thread referred to this fact. However, I also am certain that many are unaware of this fact. I was recently approached and offered 10Ped for my Black Nomad pants by “Hydro (Fourth Circle (The 8))”. After I had explained that the pants were available in Hades at value and upon his insistence, I sold them. I thought that maybe he was in a jam or perhaps didn’t have the Hades TP. In any case, I made the disclosure. After I sold him the good, he made a remark to the effect that “These are going for TT+50, lol”. To my surprise upon returning to Hades to replace the pants, the clothing sellers were gone - From every shop. A review of the update content and previous threads confirmed that the clothing sellers were indeed no more. I respect the power of information and the competitive advantage it conveys. However, there are plenty of resellers more than willing to take this advantage to an egregious extent. So, to level the playing field a bit - Noobs: If an offer seems to good to be true in PE, it is!
By the way, I bought my pants back at auction - from the same guy - at 50Peds. Sellers Beware!

I would like to let everyone know that a senior member of “The 8”, Tabby, sent me a personal message and offered an apology and refund of my loss. While I cannot accept the refund, I sincerely appreciate Tabby’s kind gesture and generosity. My previous post should not be construed as to impugn the honor of “The 8” society. It is apparent to me that this was simply an anomaly and not reflective of the society as a whole. It is nice to see that there are honest and respectable people out there!

I completely agree. There was nothing technically wrong, and I was clearly ignorant of the VU change. The information was public, and if one person can use it to their advantage over those who are unaware - so be it. My post was intended only intended to inform those who may also be unaware.
As for Hydro, I did not accuse you of scamming, nor did I intend to allude to that. You are only using information to achieve a competitive edge, albeit a rather steep one. Since being completely forthright with your customers would adversely affect your ability to trade, I wouldn’t expect you to disclose. My only purpose in posting is to inform others, so they are in a more equal trading position.

“Gangstahl” .. lamer, protected DaveJ the wellknown oil autoclicker at the rig, jumping around, striking with his valor, just being a lamer in general.
Any people I see from ‘The 8’ will only have my disdain..

Ask Gangstah if he remembers me. I am sure he does.
I was at the rig one day and he suddenly started stabbing me with a Shortblade. I gave him ample time to explain himself, but he kept on stabbing.
The server crashed, and when I got back in, I offed him. I happened to grab 1.4k oil right after that. Apparently he got quite upset because of it, and started throwing insults at me.
So seriously. It might be just an attitude problem, rather than ‘protecting people’.
