Hear me, oh Gods of PE… I am a wanderer without loots…

We, the DEPOSITERS… all have the same feeling, including the ubers:

  • We feel we are being punished, and we can only take so much punishment.

As a new player, i felt and still feel an EXTREME difficulty in moving myself in the game. And its not just about having the right equipment for my skill level. Its about everyone saying the same thing.

1 and 1/2 year ago, almost every mob had items on them. Average loots were better. Uber loots were constant. Just by looking at the old HOF list, places from 1-8 had 5000 ped down loots. Now? 2000 ped first place with luck… and the rest is 800 ped down.

I mean… if im gonna sit my *ss in front of a PC for 8 hours in a row, hunting mobs like mad, and all i get is 60-80% return, with a lesser heal chip on it… then why the hell do i keep doing it? WHATS THE POINT?

Im not asking for Eon armor or Improved Fap everyday, for crying out loud. Im asking for some profit! Im asking for some steps up the ladder, not down!!

I love PE and i hate is as much.

Everyday when i login, i have a hope i will profit, even if 10 ped… but of course i don’t. In fact… 4% profit in this game, and 70% loses money, so much they cant count anymore..according to a forum poll. should be 70% breaks even or profits a little. Say 5-10 ped a hunt. We are going to spend it again anyway…

1st -Noobs have no way of making money besides sweat. Most noobs get a gun and 1000 ammo, and return with 20 animal hides and 2-3 ped, next hunt they are broke. What happens? They leave.

2nd -No noobs, no new generations. Just like a village… it starts to fade away.

3rd -medium players have to deposit more then ever to support both low and high end players, and those start to lose faith…because of the low, if any, return. Useful Items? Yeah, right. Lots of Lesser Heals. Loads of them. Enough to build a house with. Practical use? Mr TT eats them all. oh yeah.

4th -Old players are also leaving because they are sick of this system. They all miss the old days, the days where playing PE was the most fun and exciting thing. I’ve witnessed TOP ubers saying the game is crap nowadays. They rather spend their ammo on Octagon PK’ing, then hunting mobs. Now that is ironic!

Also, MA says at least 300.000 players are in the game. Its wrong. PE has never been so deserted, and a lot of players have multiple avatars.. Which might translate to 150-200.000 players with luck. Thats very few. If you keep losing players with this unbalanced system… soon the wheels will stop, and PE will be no more.

And its not the ubers alone that will keep the wheel going. Its ALL of us. You need ALL of us. noobs, medium and ubers. Maybe we should be rewarded more… with more items, and good loots. Not that - no loot, no loot, no loot, no loot..99 pec, no loot, no loot, 10 animal hides… kind of crap.. WHY???

So that 25000 ped TT item events can happen?? Why not make 5 events with 5000 ped TT items instead? it would still make people happy. It would make money last longer, and average loots bigger.

You should give your customers rewards, not punishment.

We PE players are just like drug addicts… we know its damaging us and especially our wallet, but we keep going there for more. Masochism? Stupidity?

Must be faith. Faith it will get better someday, when someone up there decides its time to give players some money, not just take it all away from us.

Go ahead, flame at will… I know some will agree, some wont.. but this is my perspective.

Someone will moan about you moaning…

But many agree. People just choose to shut up becasue nothing will get done. No forum discussion will shine out at MA staff and then they will feel inspired at the revelation that many are not enjoying PE.

PE is a great game, I love it but after VU7.4 the game died a little. Then these latest ‘lose peds per hunts so an uber can get an uber’ type of system just isnt helping me like this game.

My advice, whore around with other games and when this &$"£% starts looking sexy again, come back.

PM me and I will tell you where loads of other PE players are playing while this MA brain fart passes.

Oki… I know. When we get bad loots for any length of time.. most of us usually just give PE a nice long break.

Well, see that’s the thing about this game.. most people havent got what it takes to play it. That would be patience and a very phat bank balance.

I know.. but we dont appreciate whining here. Everyone knows the state of play in PE right now and we know it’s a pile of rotten bollocks but we discuss these things until we go blue in the face on IRC at /server pechat.net /join #Project-Entropia :smiley:

This isnt an official MindArk forum either btw.. so comments directed at MA will not be seen by them..

I thought this was official forum, because its listed on the main entropia page. Every game has an official forum… and if this one isnt it… i wonder which is. Not Entropia Pioneers thats for sure. Maybe i should of bothered checking… but i took for granted what seems logic. Even the name is pointing it as an official forum. whatever

Finally, MA and Marco do see these forums. they know everything happening and talked about their game. They just keep their mouth shut, with logical reasons.

@Jorael: Offcourse most people won’t profit, where would the money come from?
Loots weren’t better 1.5 years ago, that’s probably just your imagination. It’s true that more items dropped, but then people used to whine that they rather want peds, because items are too heavy :laugh:

I guess it’s never ok for some people? :wise:

Whines like these have always been around any time, any state PE was in, and they rarely bring something new :smiley:

Most of us that have been around in the community for a while would like an MA website, but in actuality there are so many reasons why there is not one in existence and we can do little about it :wise:
So, imo, it isn’t suspicious at all~ it all comes down to money :wink:
You have chosen to play a game based in little Gothenberg Sweden, not based in LA or Tokyo. Automatically, you must not assume certain things would be existence in PE as you might assume they will be in, say, WoW.

My 2 pecs..
Nowadays, a webpage+forum costs 50$ a year. Maintenance costs extra 50$. Thats pecs to MA. Suspicious because sometimes the best way to avoid trouble is to not provide a space for it to happen.. So, MA’s hands are clean from rants such as mine. In here, they can say they havent seen it, and still have.. but in an official forum, they would be “forced” to see it.

Nobody likes losing money but you just gotta take the rough with the smooth agreed the loot at times is SH**E but then when it goes well it goes Foooking great :smiley: MAYBE this new vu will improve thing then again maybe it wont but guaranteed peeps will still have fun trying it out. i personally hate losing money and i have deposited a lot BUT id rather lose money here playing pe and ‘enjoying’ it then allowing the big hairy repo man at home waiting to take it for free :laugh: at the end of the day its like playing a fruit machine in your local boozer you know you losing and should stop playing but at the back of your mind the little voice always says…’ just another £10 bound to win’ :eek: maybe take a break from playing every few days or see the new VU and try mining, crafting or just run round pe in your undercrackers spurting out complete and utter bollocks just for the shits and giggles!! :tongue2:

or maybe go out and get laid bro at least then youll have that cheesy cat got the cream grin whilst losing money, works for me ! :dunce:

I have to say I feel the same frustration as u ,allthou I´m still hoping this is a one time wonder! I´m still :newbie: and havent seen how it has been in the past but what I hear from the community this surely is qualified as a ATLow loot wise! I really hope MA will take action before they start loosing their biggest source of income " the mid lev. depositing" players. Mr. Montaque dont count a new VU as an excuse to mess with the loots :mad:

Did you just pull those numbers out of..umm…somewhere ?

A forum like this with the popularity it has couldnt run acceptable at those prices, it costs way way more, i wont go into exact amounts of what i pay but it’s tensfold more than you mentioned, if you want quality hosting.

Then comes the time put into the place, MA would need hired staff to run it, at a 8hour workday that would be 3 employees they would have to hire/pay.

I spend tons of hours on these forums.

Another problem, MA had a forum once, but 90% of the posts was nothing but whining and whining, and MA would stand in a bad light if they where to close threads with whining, it wasnt much fun visiting those forums with all that whining.

As EF is a fanbased forum it’s much easier for me to close such threads.
