[h=2]Avatar System Update[/h] Due to several issues related to the new avatar system and avatar creation interface, we’d like to inform all participants that they will have another opportunity to redo their avatar appearance after the VU patch scheduled for early next week.
Below is a list of currently known avatar system issues. Please do not submit support cases on these issues, as they have already been identified and will be addressed in the VU patch next week. For other issues not listed here, please make an effort to include as much description and information as possible when submitting support cases, so that the support and development teams can better prioritize issues and implement fixes.
Known Issues

[li]Locked movement can occur for Body Sculptor Designers after closing the Body Sculpting UI. In such cases a relog will correct the issue. [/li][li]Locked movement can occur when trying to enter avatar creation areas that are full. In such cases a relog will correct the issue. [/li][li]Due to last minute integration issues, makeup masks will not be available in this release. Makeup masks will be activated in the release patch, expected in one week. [/li][li]Makeup masks created during the avatar creation process are not visible in the Start Room, but will become visible again once your avatar arrives on a planet for the first destination. [/li][li]Female makeup masks appear fully decayed when arriving on a planet for the first time. This is a visual bug only, the masks are not decayed. [/li][/ul]
What about serious performance issues? No mention about those?

also .. everything is really dark .. and some things are really bright. Even the orange jumpsuit does not match eachother as one part is dark and one part is bright.
My custom clothes that I spent a pretty penny on are very bright and look horrid.
My skin is also very dark , but it was much lighter in the creation system.
Thanks a ton for letting us redo it again though, least now i can look at it after the patch and see if the darkness is fixed before re-creating again.
biggest fuck up eva, I’ve never complained in forums b4, but this has pissed me off … sorry up front, but as you see i don’t look anything like b4 (no one does) i spent hours & hours creating my ava .. spend hundreds if not thousands of peds on clothes .. body stocking used to be black now its white& half of my tight top is missing when I put it on with armor :mad:

I don’t see why i should have to spend hours with the weird new avatar creator thing .. don’t understand why everyone is fat now!!! I’m hoping its just a big mess-up from MA & that our avatars go back to something resembling their old appearances after next week’s fix

Big improvement if you ask me. But I usually spend about 5 mins making my avatar in theese updates.
Wow, these new avatars aren’t looking anything like their old selves. I spent about 3 hours making mine back when the last update come in and I was really happy. This sucks, I might just wait to log in until the next update next weeks.
I am at work still, but have been laughing all day at these threads. I can’t wait to get home. My avatar has been so ugly for years because I just random’ed it and logged in cuz I was in a hurry ( that version update that let us re-do them a while back.) Now I will fit right in!
people sopend years, and hundreds sometimes thousands of peds…designing texturing and coloring thier avatar and its clothing…why oh why would MA take a crap all over our avatars, and clothing..
