I have been as far south as possible on the island of amethera. and as far west as memorial island. I was just wondering..Is there any neat things to see to the north and to the far east of the island. Like any teleports or special geographic spots and if you have been there can you give some coordinates of some of these neet things to see or cool things to hunt anything you might see as interesting to go check out. I knwo I have all the teleports straight south and pretty much got the west covered. Just wondered what you might have seen that I can go check out:)

So is it something like the forbidden zone in planet of the apes? can see it now … all the history of the planet is in the forbidden place we cannot go to lol. We will find that we never really left earth and were just 40,000 years in its future lol. See a big statue of the eiffel tower or something all rusted.

Lol… yeah.. you can actually see past it.. its really weird. I heard (not sure if its true) that there are no servers there. I have tried a couple times and i can never seem to catch the servers up…

Makes you wonder what would happen if you did get outside and could look back.. would you see like a snowglobe type thing. a mystical forcefield and then die from lack of oxygen? there is all kinda theories we can play with here. maybe this planet is flat and you just fall offinto space. Or better yet you come out on the other side of the island. Like in some kinda wierd twilight movie thing. Maybe if we get a whole group of say 20 of us one could bust out lol Makes you kinda feel like a hampster here. lol We need to do the pink floyd thing and break down the wall.

Marco has perviously mentioned that the other areas will be opened when the demand is there for it. I take this to mean that they will open up when the number of players passes a certain level, to ensure people spread out some more.
Trying to go outside the SW quad will only get you a bunch of “Server unavailable” messages.

Well, if i see it on the map then i would expect it to be there. I’m not sure what would qualify for the demand being there. I understand the point, but it seems like introducing a car that can go 250 mph and saying, when people wanna go that fast they can.
If you introduce the fact that it can go that fast then people will want to do it. If you show a huge map then people will want to travel to all points.

The available area has grown, during the scouting before the first LG I did some exploring and some boundrys have moved since then, so ‘BE COOL!’ :dance: wait and see whats coming… IMO they could have shaded the unavailable parts of the map or something to make the boundrys visible tho :wise:
