A "few" questions

First of all, hi all, some new blood has just entered PE!

Now my questions:

 1. Whats a good price for sweat? 3 pec a bottle or more like 2,5?
 2. When selling sweat in large amounts does its price drop or raise? What would 1.000/10.000/… bottles of sweat be worth?
 3. Can you keep sweating as long as you like, or is there a limit to it in some way? I think there is, since everyone would be sweating all over the place.
 4. I’m planning to deposit a bit once I got the grips from this game a bit, but what would be a good amount to start with? What expences can I expect? At wich rate am I gonne loose cash beeing a total newbie ingame?
 5. What profession should I pick up, wich ones are the difficult ones? (I’m thinking about becoming a miner here).
 6. When I’ll level my hunting skills a bit, should I grab an axe first or should I go for a gun straight away?
 7. I’ve been traveling around a bit, and it seems some areas are somewhat hostile. Wich areas are a little more noob friendly (I’m near the south of the continent atm, wich doesn’t seem to be very safe)
 8. How do you get your hp up?
 9. I’ve been readin all over about hidden skills? What are they? What are they good for?
 10. I don’t like to be all allone, and a lot of armoured people seem to just ignore the orange ones. Is there any good, stable and decent society I can get accepted for? I’m not looking for free stuff or something here, just a bunch of people who can mentor me a bit.
 11. Is there any place I can store my stuff?
 12. What is housing good for? Are there any benefits when you own a house or is it just for showing off?
 13. I noticed there is another continent. How are you able to reach it? Is it a hostile terretory? Any newby friendly terretories over there?
 14. Why are clothes so expencive? On the auction I noticed some pieces are even more expencive then housing lots!
 15. Are there any external tools I can use, for gathering terrain & mob info, mark spots, … , or should I just trust the good old notepad?
 16. What kind of mobs should I look for for sweating?

Hmm, thats it … for now

:girl: Welcome aboard-
Most of your questions you can find answers to by combing through the noobs corner here on EF
To answer a few that popped out at me, however, and to save you some time…

there is a limit on sweating… it depends when you reach the sweat skill cap. I never sweated so I really do not know exactly when that happens. Depending upon how often you sweat, the time this takes you can be anywhere from a week (this is a guess) to a few months.

Price of sweat, as in all things in PE, depends upon the current market values. Getting saavy with the auction will help you determine what are some going rates.

Good place for newbies is right around Port Atlantis… many low end mobs there. Another good spot is around Troy imo, as well as to the east of Jason Center. If you go to Amethera, there are low end mobs but high end players likely to cap your arse

Clothing items are expensive b/c they are in high demand (relatively) but only a few good players tailor ones worth having. Save your money… run around in orange, collect all of your tp’s, meet other players (oldies and newbies), check out how trading works in towns, encounter different mobs so you get a feel for which ones you need to stay away from and which ones you need to axe away at, and have fun. :girl:

I’ve posted these questions because I couldn’t find them in the noobs corner. I guess I have to look a little bit better
I’ve been back 9 pages in topics, reading every single one, but not much luck so far.

Note: So far I’ve found an answer to question 4, … 15 more to go :stuck_out_tongue:

 1. seems to be around 3 pecs
 2. There is no way it is worth less, if anything you should get more - but im not sure if that is the case.
 3. There is a limit, not sure at what lvl, i think its around 100+
 4. Don;t spend all your money on hunting, you will lose your money fairly quickly.
 5. I don’t think any professionas are difficult - they just vary in expense. Tailoring is expensive, mining isn’t.
 6. Try an axe and see how you like it, axing is good for bulding up health points.
 7. All areas are safe (except amethera), I think maybe you are just meeting unhelpful people, there are quite a few nice folks around.
 8. Axing/melee is good for it.
 9. Hidden skills are activated when you reach a certain level, they fall into most categories - defence, combat, medical, crafting. Whether they make any difference is negotiable.
 10. I think the answer to this is to chat to people and make friends, find people you like. Most of the time its a question of if a society will accept you, but its also important to ask what you will gain by joining a certain society.
 11. You have access to a storage locker in all towns.
 12. Housing is useful for storing items, also the new beauty crafts requite that equipment be place in a property. There are also hangers that have spaceships, you can give people rides to the spacestation and make a bit of cash doing this.
 13. You can get to amethera by clicking “change continent” at any tp - amethera is all pvp which means anyone can shoot you.
 14. Some clothes are expensive because they are new, other clothes are expensive because they cost a lot to make.
 15. There is a program but i forget what its called
 16. You can sweat any mob and i believe the bigger the mob the more sweat you will get from it, but go for the ones that kill you less

Lesse if i can help out!

 1. Right now the price for sweat is 3 pec per bottle. It changes all the time, so just see what other people are asking for it.

 2. The prices in PE generally dont lower in bulk. If you have 10000 sweat its 3 pec per bottle, you have 2 bottles its 3 pec per bottle. But in the end its up to you to decide if you want to bend on the prices.

 3. Svet answered this one

 4. You found the answer

 5. Stick with sweating and trading to begin with if you cannot deposit. if you CAN deposit most people will recommend low end hunting equipment to hunt with. There is a great decsription of each of them on the guide pdf from the launcher for more detail.

 6. The 1x0 axe is the most efficient wep in the game. Stick with it until you get money to start using other weapons. Most would recommend you get a few of them as they do run out quite fast.

 7. Port Atlantis and Camp Pheonix are generally considered noob areas. Camp Pheonix is a very popular sweat farm. You can locate it on the map and make a run (its NE of PA)

 8. Skilling in EVERYTHING raises your HP. I have gained HP Mining, Crafting, Etc. Its REALLY slow going tho so be patient.

 9. There are skills that can be unlocked, most you need to be over at LEAST 1k in those skills… So i wouldnt worry about them yet. They can be researched on here tho.

 10. check out the game… You will learn more about soc’s and the one you should be in in time.

 11. Some areas have Storage containers. They are big and blue.. Double click and it will have an area you can store things. Your stuff will be available at any storage container.

 12. Housing is mainly something to show off stuff, have somewher to go, etc… dont worry about this for now.

 13. When you go to a TP hit the other continent button on the lower right and you can go to Treasure Island. Most of the continent is PVP. Most likely someone will shoot you if you are alone in orange.

 14. Biggest mistake a noob can make is buying clothes. They do nothing for you. They are a waste of money. Wait till you have money to waste.

 15. Notepad is your best friend. There are several tools than can be used, but i still think the notepad is most reliable.

 16. Head to camp pheonix and sweat whatever gets pulled in.

oh thx- I’m the only one that answered some of your questions right away and kindly and u leave me in the dark … see if i ever rep u :nana:

YES! I’m just kidding :silly2:

Just a few suggestions…

Look around Port Atlantis for the mentor societies… there are a few.

Secondly… buying some really cheap clothes may be a waste of money as far as gameplay is concerned, but it immediately makes you different from all the other newbies… This may make a difference in how people treat you at times. Especially in PvP (Player vs Player) areas, because people don’t think twice before capping a noob in the butt, but if you have different clothes… they may think twice, because you may pull out a Mod Uber gun and kill them in 1 shot if they try anything.

The price of sweat does tend to go up as the quantities increase. A lot of traders buy from all the sweaters in 1 or 2 hundreds for 2.8 - 3.0 pec per bottle, and then sell a whole lot for 3.0-3.2 pec per bottle.

Btw not all mobs can be sweated. There is a difference between animals and mutants… Don’t try sweating Feffoids, Maffoids etc…

And another thing… you’re asking all the right questions, so it shows you have been doing some thinking, and reading… and it just looks like you have not met the right people to put these questions to in the game.
PM me, and we’ll meet up in game… I’ll start you off with a couple axes and perhaps an old fap…

I lost ability at level 69. I had been gaining skills in other fields, so I guess thats why.

Az

It depends on other skills too, like i and many other old avatars have never tried sweating because we are too high skilled in other than sweating.

My sweat gathering skill is “1”, and i have never been able to gather sweat.
