A bug i have

I have already told supprt about this, but im hoping someone here would be able to help me:

This is a bug regarding my inventory:

Since i started to play the items in my inventory/storage/trade screen would sometimes be totally invisible or look like a FAP/fruit/ammo.

The onely way i can find my items sometimes is by the condition bar of the item!

I have installed the drivers that MA say you need, but the problem is still there, so i have installed the latest Nvidia drivers and still it is there.

This bug is getting really irretating, because i take about 30 Minutes to find my PED card sometimes. Today i was lucky, all my items looked like a FAP, so i was able to take some screenshots.

Sofar onely my Energy Matters and Mining Equipment doesnt get affected.

If anyone can help me, plz do! I have uploaded some pictures of this!

hmm reg drivers it really depends on your grfx card

for my old pice of fanned silicon older drivers worked better..

but hey i dunno …

of course reinstalling PE could be a try if it is an error on your clients data

but it looks more like MA’s database got wicked on ya .(

thinking over it again this ..u can somehow test if u see stuff on auction rigth

but from that you cant tell really if that part of data is stored on server or ur client :rolleyes:

well at least i can say i doubt its a problem with drivers

i have seen similiar bugs a few times…but cant remember what the solution was

i guess your pretty helpless until support responds :frowning:

i see this post have been moved to the noobs corner. maby u must start a new category called ‘problems’ or “bugs”. Then the communtiy can help!

Now all i can do is to wait for support! ( sounds funny! )

You alreayd tryed to take all pickable items in your inventory → log-off & delete the Configfile?

I remember this helped last Inventorybug. (Sometimes, when to manny Items in Storrage)

this started when i started playing.

I could find my PED card the first time when someone told me “just drag the money to you PED card”.

I onely placed everything in storage to take a screenshot of everything!

this sound like a big a friend has, he needs to use the latest Nvidia drivers 77.something he say his ped card looks like gloves in each corner among other errors

are you using the drivers MA recommmend?
( dont understand why PE doesnt support lateset drivers :confused: )

Like i said, i did try the drivers MA recommends, but it didnt work. Thats why i installed the latest drivers and still i have the problem.

PE has a lot of bugs :frowning:

That’s defenatly a driver issue. Don’t know what about them it is, and it may vary from card to card. I was runing beta drivers and it did something similar to that, I ran older drivers and it was the same. I ended up keeping a hacked version of Det 66.93 and havent had a problem since (stupid FX2Go chips, not even the official Nvidia drivers seem to support them :confused: )

The best you can probably do is just keep trying different drivers untill you find a set that works for you…

Thats alot of drivers!

I just hope it gets fixed soon.

MA also told me to install the game again, so im busy downloading 7.5 from the beginning again. Onely problem is that the server is a a bit slow, so i dunno when i will be able to play again.

The Fix!

Here is how to fix the bug:

Uninstall PE and delete the folder, also clear your temp and temp internet folder and all lists for internet explorer (history, cookies…)

Then download the full game again.

It works like a charm!
