95% of time I just stand in East Scylla next to crafting machine so its not that hard to achieve

Not in steam yet, but i think i am closing on 2000 hours in past 13 months. 
Edit: 1500 Hours of it hunting.

Is there a benefit for MA or player running through steam ?
Displayed time and player population count?
In MA case slightly more visibility for the game?
I am not aware of anything beside those.
